Terms of Service

McCrea Marketing Group (McCrea Marketing, LLC)
Effective Date: April 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SpeakerSync Pro plugin and related services provided by McCrea Marketing, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By purchasing, installing, or using SpeakerSync Pro, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product Overview

SpeakerSync Pro is a downloadable WordPress plugin designed to integrate third-party data into your website. The plugin relies in part on external APIs, including Talkadot, and may require an active license to access certain functionality.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as expressly permitted below) license to use SpeakerSync Pro under the following conditions:

  • License Type: Single-site license
  • Scope: Use on one production domain
  • Duration: Annual subscription unless otherwise stated

 

Lifetime Licenses

A limited number of lifetime licenses may be granted at our discretion as promotional offers. These licenses are governed by these Terms unless otherwise specified.

3. License Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the plugin on more than one production domain per license
  • Access or use SpeakerSync Pro’s licensed services—including data synchronization, updates delivered through our systems, or support—without a valid license
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute access to SpeakerSync Pro’s licensed services without authorization
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass license key validation or domain restrictions
  • Use the plugin in a manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Open Source Licensing

SpeakerSync Pro is developed for WordPress and is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL) (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt).

You may use, modify, and redistribute the GPL-licensed portions of the plugin in accordance with the GPL.

However, your purchase of SpeakerSync Pro provides access to additional licensed services, including:

  • License key validation
  • Data synchronization functionality
  • Access to updates through our systems
  • Customer support

 

These services are not licensed under the GPL and require a valid, active license from McCrea Marketing, LLC.

5. License Activation & Enforcement

  • Licenses are validated per domain
  • Staging or development domains are not permitted under a standard license
  • Licenses may be transferred to a new domain by the license holder

6. License Expiration

  • The plugin may continue to function in a limited capacity
  • Data synchronization will stop
  • You will lose access to:
    • Updates
    • Support

7. Payments, Refunds, and Subscription Terms

All purchases are final.

  • No refunds are offered under any circumstances
  • By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy

8. Subscription and Auto-Renewal

SpeakerSync Pro is sold as an annual subscription.

  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (one year) at the then-current price, unless you cancel prior to the renewal date.
  • Billing Authorization: By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring annual basis.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not terminate your current license period.
  • License Term: Your license remains active for the full one-year term from the original purchase or most recent renewal date, regardless of when you cancel.
  • No Prorated Refunds: No refunds or prorated credits will be issued for partial subscription periods.

9. Updates and Support

  • Updates are provided only with an active license
  • Support is provided via email only
  • Typical response time is within 48 hours, but not guaranteed

 

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability of updates
  • Uptime of licensing or update servers

10. Third-Party Dependencies

SpeakerSync Pro depends on external systems, including:

  • WordPress core software
  • Your hosting environment
  • Third-party APIs such as Talkadot

 

We are not responsible for:

  • Changes to third-party APIs
  • Downtime or disruptions caused by external services
  • Compatibility issues arising from third-party updates

11. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the plugin in compliance with all applicable laws and not in a way that:

  • Violates intellectual property rights
  • Disrupts or damages systems
  • Misuses third-party data

12. Accounts and Security

If your use of the plugin involves a website account:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of the system
  • Non-payment

 

Upon termination:

  • Your license will be deactivated
  • Access to updates and support will cease

14. Modifications to the Product

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue any part of the plugin
  • Change features or functionality at any time without notice

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

SpeakerSync Pro is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

  • That the plugin will be error-free
  • Compatibility with all themes, plugins, or environments
  • Continuous or uninterrupted operation

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product
  • We are not liable for:
    • Loss of data
    • Website downtime
    • Lost revenue or business interruption
    • Conflicts with other plugins, themes, or systems

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless McCrea Marketing, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the plugin
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
